ISPS compliance

The ISPS Code aims to protect ships and ports from various threats, such as terrorism, piracy, theft, cybercrime, and other risks.

The code establishes the responsibilities of governments, port authorities, shipping companies, and crews. An essential part of the implementation on board includes conducting a Ship Security Assessment and developing a Ship Security Plan (SSP). The Company Security Officer (CSO) and the Ship Security Officer (SSO) bear the responsibility for the implementation and compliance of these measures.
